We support local artists, promote artistic opportunities, and create experiences that bring people together through creative expression. Our mission is to encourage community engagement in the arts through programs, events, partnerships, creative wellness initiatives, and cultural activities that are accessible and welcoming to all ages and backgrounds. Whether you are an artist, volunteer, supporter, business sponsor, or community member looking to explore creativity, we invite you to be part of our growing arts community.

Through the support of our members, sponsors, volunteers, and community partners, we continue to foster a vibrant, creative, and inclusive local arts scene that enriches, inspires, and connects Hillsborough residents of all ages.

Share Your Creativity
Do you have a creative skill or artistic expertise to share? Hillsborough Arts Council members are invited to partner with us to offer community enrichment classes that educate, inspire, and connect our community through the arts.
Learn more about becoming a Teaching Partner and help bring your creativity to the community. Teachinng Partner applications will open Monday August 24, 2026.
Craft Show Collective
Showcase your creative pieces at the JPA Plaza Craft Show through the Hillsborough Arts Council's shared booth. A simple way to reach new customers without attending the event.
Paint a Mini Door
