Our mission is to encourage community engagement in the arts through programs, events, partnerships, creative wellness initiatives, and cultural activities that are accessible and welcoming to all ages and backgrounds. Whether you are an artist, volunteer, supporter, business sponsor, or community member looking to explore creativity, we invite you to be part of our growing arts community.

Hillsborough Arts Council is partnering with JPA Plaza for a special event taking place on September 13, 2026. This event is currently in the early planning stages and will feature art experiences centered on mental health and wellness. We all can benefit from a little therapeutic art-making to promote clarity, reflection, and healing. We want to include the community in our planning and therefore; have developed a interest survey. Please consider taking this short survey so we can develop the best programming for mental health.
